We exist for one reason: the fastest-growing category of medicine in Britain has attracted the fastest-growing category of fraud. Somebody needed to stand between the two.

Why this site exists

Weight-loss injections have become one of the most searched-for treatments in the UK — and wherever demand outruns supply, opportunists move in. Counterfeit pens, cloned pharmacy websites, sellers working through social-media inboxes: the reporting is grim and the harm is real. At the same time, the legitimate market has its own problem — the identical, manufacturer-made pen can cost £85 a month more at one regulated provider than another, and most buyers never see the whole market in one place.

Trusted Weight Loss deals with both problems at once. We verify providers against the official registers so you never have to gamble on legitimacy, and we publish their prices side by side so you never overpay for the same medicine. Verified providers. Honest prices. No exceptions — that's the whole idea, and it's on the masthead so you can hold us to it.

How verification works

Every provider on our list passes the same three checks before listing, and keeps passing them to stay listed:

1. Registration, confirmed at source. We look each provider up ourselves on the General Pharmaceutical Council register or the Care Quality Commission directory, and confirm the registration is live. We don't accept a badge on a homepage as evidence of anything — badges can be copied; register entries can't.
2. A genuine prescription pathway. Mounjaro and Wegovy are prescription-only medicines. We confirm each provider requires a prescriber consultation before supply, and that the prescriber can decline. A seller who skips this step is excluded permanently, whatever it charges.
3. Prices from the provider's own pages. Every figure in our table is taken directly from the provider's published pricing and stamped with the date we last checked it. We show first-month offers and ongoing prices separately, because the second number is the one you'll live with.

Providers that fail a check don't appear. Providers whose registration lapses come off the list. There is no appeal process that involves a chequebook.

How the table is ordered

The table is sorted by ongoing price, cheapest first, and the sort order is generated from the same public data file we publish. Our one editorial recommendation — The Weight Clinic — sits in a clearly flagged, pinned row with its real prices, precisely so you can tell recommendation from ranking at a glance.

We are editorially independent: our verification standards and our rankings are set by our editorial team and by the registers, not by any provider. No one can pay to move up the table.

What we are not

We are not a pharmacy, a clinic, or a prescriber. We do not sell, supply, prescribe or dispense medicines, and we never handle them. We are also not your doctor: nothing on this site is medical advice, and the decision about whether a weight-loss medicine is right for you belongs to you and a qualified prescriber — with your GP or pharmacist in the conversation.

Corrections

Prices in this market move quickly and we would rather be corrected than be wrong.
